Ashknott Cottage is owned and run by local Yorkshire couple, Sarah and Tim Manby.
After having visited many places to stay, both in the UK and overseas, Tim and I wanted you our guests, to feel comfortable and relaxed and have tried our best to create a real "home from home" atmosphere for you.
Within our charming holiday cottage in Nidderdale in the Yorkshire Dales, we've made the King size bed up with Egyptian Cotton Bedding from the White Company and in the bathroom you'll find complimentary Molton Brown goodies and fluffy Egyptian towels.
The Shaker style kitchen is well equipped with crockery, utensils and recipe books that you would expect to find in your own home, along with a washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, electric cooker, toaster, kettle, DAB radio and microwave.

In the cosy, beamed lounge, you can relax in front of the log burning stove, enjoy a glass and watch your favourite DVD on the flat screen LCD TV. If music is your thing then there is a CD player and an iPod connector too. We know how important the internet and keeping in touch has become so Ashknott Cottage is also WiFi enabled with a BT hub.
There's a little suntrap of a courtyard garden at the rear, complete with outdoor furniture, BBQ and is also enclosed.

On street parking is normally available outside the cottage and as dog lovers and owners of Murphy, our rescued black Labrador, we understand the need for a good quality, stylish holiday cottage which is happy to accept dogs, so at Ashknott Cottage, they are - all we ask in return is that they are to be kept downstairs at all times and not to be left unattended at anytime.
