Ashknott Cottage is owned and run by local Yorkshire couple, Sarah and Tim Manby. After visiting many places to stay, both in the UK and overseas, this couple would like their guests to feel comfortable, relaxed and surrounded by those simple pleasures in life, they view the competition as ‘your own home’. So at Ashknott Cottage, you’ll find a CD player to listen to your favourite tunes, a DVD player to watch a great movie, WIFI internet access to keep in touch, Freeview Digital TV and even a BBQ to cook those award winning sausages on!
This charming holiday cottage offers a luxury King Size bedroom, well equipped kitchen with washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, electric cooker, toaster, kettle and microwave. In the beamed lounge, you’ll find a log burning stove, dining table and chairs, along with comfy furniture to relax upon. Upstairs in the large, spacious bathroom, this room offers a separate walk-in shower, bath, toilet and wash basin. The property benefits from oil central heating and also offers a south-facing courtyard garden with outdoor furniture and BBQ. The cottage also has a useful porch extension, where coats, wellies, walking boots and dog beds can be easily housed. On-street parking is available outside the front of the cottage.
As dog lovers and owners of Murphy, their beloved black Labrador, Sarah and Tim appreciate the need for good quality holiday accommodation, which are happy to accept man's best friend. At Ashknott Cottage we welcome up to two, well behaved dogs by arrangement, and in return, ask for your pets not to be left alone within the cottage at any time, even if they have their own crate.
